All delegates traveling to Italy must present an approved travel document (passport or identity card) and delegates from many countries will require a ‘tourist’ visa to enter the country. To see whether a visa is necessary, delegates should check: www.esteri.it/visti/index_eng.asp.
Delegates are urged to contact their nearest Italian embassy or consulate as early as possible to determine where the application should be made and how long this process will take.
Applications must be submitted in person at the Italian representation in the respective countries, or at a Schengen partner representation, if Italy does not have representation in that country.
